Our client is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire and they are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a 12 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the main responsibilities will be -

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Posting daily bank transactions
  • Sales ledger duties
  • Reconciliation of credit card and petty cash
  • Staff expenses
  • Monthly reporting
  • Dealing with any accounting queries as required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within an accounts team and be able to start immediately. You will possess good people, administration and timekeeping skills and be confident to deal with both internal and external parties and have strong IT and Excel skills.
