Accounts Assistant

CMA Recruitment Group is supporting a service based business with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant. Based on the outskirts of Ryde, Isle of Wight, the successful candidate will join a friendly team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main duties will include:

• Matching and posting purchase ledger invoices;
• Statement reconciliations and resolution of supplier queries;
• Monthly bank reconciliations;
• Credit control via telephone, email and letter;
• Preparation and posting of sales journals;
• Sales ledger invoicing, copy invoices and credit notes;
• Ad hoc support.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Previous experience of transactional processing;
• The ability to work within a team or on your own initiative;
• A high level of accuracy;
• Strong IT skills including Excel.
