CMA Recruitment Group are working with a reputable, growing organisation based near Eastleigh, Hampshire, who as a result of growth are looking to recruit an Assistant Payroll Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting into a Payroll Manager, this position will assist with supervising a small team and leading on certain aspects of the payroll function.
*Support the manager with the management of the payroll function;
*Produce timely and accurate payrolls with high levels of discretion and confidentiality;
*To ensure that the payroll function is operating efficiently;
*Assist with balance sheet reconciliations;
*Administer the company pension schemes accurately;
*To keep accurate records of company vehicles and leased car use;
*Complete P11D forms for employees;
*Calculate Class 1A National Insurance contributions for the company;
*Ensure HMRC returns are completed on time;
*Advise the company on the impact of changes to payroll regulations;
*Assist with managing the Payroll Administrators and provide ongoing training and support;
*Liaise with all levels of directors, managers and employees to provide advice and support on payroll queries
