A large and respected UK insurance intermediary is currently looking for an experienced Account Handler for their commercial insurance broking team based in the Northants area.
This is an exciting opportunity that rarely comes up for someone to settle into a long term technical broking role alongside others of a similar mind-set. The company being one UK's largest commercial brokers have a wide variety of clients for you to work with by providing insurance solutions with an enviable number of underwriters and relationships.
The position will require you to provide daily servicing and administration of Clients' insurance programmes in a timely, technically accurate and cost effective manner. You will provide broking and administrative services to clients including advice and information on areas deemed competent. The role will involve you with understanding client situations, opportunities and problems leading to assistance and designing appropriate solutions.
Activities include but not limited to;
*Collate and prepare reports for both client and insurer market
*Checking policy document for accuracy prior to client receipt
*Process correspondence, renewals, pre-renewals activity, quotations and system input
*Ensure premiums are settled in accordance with company credit control
*Expand where possible client portfolio to include additional covers
