One of the UK's finest insurance intermediaries is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Development Executive to join them at their expanding Guildford office.
The position will be operating within the commercial risk and insurance division that specialise in many defined sectors and trades, offering bespoke insurance solutions and risk management services often on a national scale.
The company is looking to the future and prides itself on having a market leading client service model and a long list of products it can access. The office team consists of some of the best insurance minds and personalities in the area.
What will the role involve?
Actively seek and respond to all new business opportunities whilst exceeding your targets. There is a strong focus on the monetary goals and how you engage with your clients. It's a double focused role and as such will need an ambitious and dynamic professional.
Ability to focus on the needs of your retail customers and provide experienced advice - you will be the diving strength in the customer relationship.
You will be knowledgeable and comfortable recommending alternative products to your prospective clients.
Contributing to the overall target you will be a strong performer, great teammate, and act with the highest integrity.
You will attend trade related dinners, AGM's, trade shows, expo's etc. able to rely heavily on your social skills and ability to network at all levels.
Competent communication skills will be required to negotiate effectively and obtain the most appropriate terms with Underwriters and Insurers. You will present a dynamic and professional image to everyone you meet.
Proven track record of delivering against targets within a regulated, measurable framework is required.
Motivated by generating leads and building pipelines, for you it must be about making things happen.
Working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications.
Have a keen eye for business opportunity in a commercial setting and the dedication to approach, deliver insurance solutions and win the order.
High level of empathy and engagement to gain trust and the highest degree of ethics and integrity in client focus.
You must be eligible to work in the UK and have the ability to travel.
