Finance Assistant

CMA is partnering with a growing manufacturing business on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting time to join the business as they go through a period of growth. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will act as number 2 in the finance team.

What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

• Weekly wages and monthly payroll (full training provided)
• Accounts payable including processing invoices, reconciliations and payment runs 
• Staff Expenses 
• Assisting with month end including balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings 
• Supporting the Finance Manager with process improvement 

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

• Previous experience in a varied finance role is essential
• QBE or AAT studying/qualified 
• Excel including pivot tables 
• Excellent communication skills
