Our client is a global leader and specialist in their field, based just outside Basingstoke. They are known for their commitment to excellence and innovation, and they are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join their finance team as a Finance Business Partner.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will be a key member of the finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the timely month-end accounting and management information processes for the company's UK sites. You will work closely with various business areas, providing financial insights, analysis, and support to drive business performance and decision-making.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

  • Drive month-end processes to ensure timely and accurate management information is presented to the business and management team, including management accounts and financial commentary.
  • Provide detailed analysis on sales, gross margin, profitability, direct labour efficiency, and productivity.
  • Deliver comprehensive variance analysis to better understand performance and cost base of the business.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis, effectively communicating results and findings across the business.
  • Engage and communicate with partners and stakeholders across the organisation, influencing and challenging where necessary.
  • Conduct financial modelling and assist in the consolidation of Group results.
  • Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects as required.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner vacancy:

  • Finalist or Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, with relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexible and proactive approach with the ability to respond to changes in demand and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to mentor and support others within the finance team.
  • Strong planning, prioritising and time management skills.
