Finance Director

This Finance Director role presents a compelling opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, poised for significant growth. As the company continues its trajectory of success, the Finance Director will play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial initiatives and supporting the business in achieving its objectives.  Working alongside the Managing Director, the Finance Director will oversee the company's financial, administrative, and risk management factors and work alongside other members of the senior leadership management team to determine an overall direction for the company.

What will the Finance Director role involve?

• Oversees the preparation of financial reports, and develops and analyses key metrics
• Assists the Board on long-term financial and business planning
• Provides commercial support for contracts, pricing and cost control
• Contributes to business continuous improvement
• Contributes to discussions and decisions around digital strategy
• Provides recommendations to CEO and the Board
• Establishes and maintains relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and investors
• Tracks cash flow and analyses the company’s financial weaknesses and strengths

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Director vacancy:

• Be a Chartered Accountant, CIMA or similar, with extensive post qualification experience
• 5-10 years of senior management experience
• Outstanding commercial acumen, good problem-solving skills and the ability to strategise and devise solutions, with excellent financial forecasting skills
• Understanding of data/digital strategies and process improvement
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with all members of the Board and wider team
• Proficiency in various computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel and other financial management software.
