Financial Controller

CMA are partnering with a fast growth construction business based in Havant, Hampshire on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Financial Controller on a permanent basis. The financial controller will be the number one in finance and will lead a small finance team and handle the day to day running of the finance team.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

• Line manage two direct reports overseeing transactional finance.
• Production of management accounts in line with strict internal timescales.
• Consistent cash flow management and reporting.
• Leading on the budgeting process business partnering with internal stakeholders and producing timely forecasts.
• Strong control of cash flow including regular reporting.
• Oversee the statutory reporting working closely with the external accountants.
• Other ad hoc duties within finance.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Previous experience producing management accounts with commentary to board/group.
• Line management experience would be a bonus.
• Growth mindset and ability to grow with the role as the organisation grows.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
