CMA Recruitment Group are working exclusively to support an established SME manufacture and distribution company based in Worthing, West Sussex in their recruitment of a Financial Controller who will support the business during a period of change and support its growth plans.
What will the role involve?
This position will bring the full finance function in-house and will oversee a small finance team while setting new processes and procedures;
The appointed applicant will be responsible for everything from overseeing ledgers to producing the trial balance and will also include the production of monthly management accounts and statutory reports;
Reporting and working closely with the MD to produce budgets and forecasts and will support decision making regarding new business opportunities.
Our client is particularly interested in applicants possessing Sage experience and who will commit to a 6 month contract to support the business during a period of positive change;
Candidates will ideally be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified and looking to work in a varied and largely autonomous role;
Prior experience of working in a well-rounded SME finance position is highly desirable.
