Accountancy & Finance
Our client, an expanding SME who have experienced a period of positive change, is seeking to recruit a hands-on Management Accountant for a minimum 12-month period. Reporting to the Finance Director duties will include:
*Production of the monthly management accounts pack with support from the Senior Management Accountant;
*Support the budgeting and forecasting process;
*Support the annual audit and tax computation preparation;
*Effective accounting, general ledger processes and journal posting;
*Production of balance sheet reconciliations;
*Maintain the accruals and prepayment schedules;
*Support the monitoring and management of the debtor's ledger, chasing overdue debts and escalating as required where credit terms are not being adhered to;
*Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
As the successful applicant you will be part/newly qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience, with experience of preparing detailed management accounts within industry, or a practice outsourcing department. Furthermore, proven analytical skills complimented by upper intermediate Excel proficiency are required.
