Working closely with our Bournemouth, Dorset based client, CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Payroll Officer to join their rapidly growing finance team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for running both four weekly and monthly payrolls, you will have responsibility for maintaining accurate RTI records, inputting and reconciling all SSP, SMP and SPP payments, pension administration and preparing BACS payments. Managing the preparation of the payroll audit, you will continually ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and liaise with the HMRC to resolve any tax related issues.
A background in payroll with up to date knowledge of payroll legislation is essential, as is a proven ability to use your own initiative and work efficiently under pressure in order to meet varying deadlines. This is an exciting and challenging role, where you will be given full autonomy to make the role your own, it is paying £25,000 per annum and you will be working from our client's Bournemouth, Dorset based head office.
