CMA Recruitment Group Ltd is delighted to be recruiting for our successful and expanding Bournemouth, Dorset based client while they experience growth in their finance function. Their requirement is for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a fixed term contract basis; this position is to cover maternity leave. Paying up to £21,000 per annum pro rata ideally over three days a week.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be processing a high volume of supplier invoices in a small team, this will encompass the entire end to end process from receiving invoices through to accurately producing payments ready to be signed off for monthly payment runs; additionally, you will be processing expenses and reconciling bank account statements. The position requires previous experience in a similar role, this will mean you can seamlessly fit within the new position and competently resolve supplier queries effectively and report on purchase ledger activity, you will have constant interaction with internal teams and external suppliers and customers.
The client is looking for a candidate who can demonstrate a working knowledge of accounting packages and is confidence using Excel. You will ideally be a team player who is flexible in your approach and willing to dedicate yourself in this position.
