CMA Recruitment Group are working with a growing company based in Segensworth, Hampshire, to help them recruit a part time Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the team.

What will the role involve?

  • Matching purchase orders to incoming invoices;
  • Manage issuing of non-purchase order invoices;
  • Coding non-purchase order invoices, petty cash vouchers, expense reports;
  • Handling all supplier correspondence via phone or email;
  • Preparing and run batch BACS transactions for approval and processing;
  • Reconciling accounts to supplier statements resolving any discrepancies identified;
  • Processing remittance information from BACS transaction payments for invoices;
  • Processing CIS subcontractor payments;
  • Performs other duties as required to support Finance Department.

Suitable candidate:

  • The client is looking for a dynamic, experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant with a sound knowledge of this function, as well as having the ability to communicate on all levels.
  • Experience with Sage is a must and payroll knowledge would also be an advantage.
