CMA is delighted to be partnering with our well-established property and agriculture client based near New Milton, Hampshire currently in need of a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their fast-paced finance function following a busy period of growth. 

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be joining the team on a permanent basis and your responsibilities will include processing payment runs, invoices, and reconciling supplier accounts.

What will the Purchase Ledger Assistant role involve?

  • Processing on a daily basis of upto 60 purchase ledger invoices;
  • Prepare payment runs before manager sign-off;
  • Perform regular reconciliations of supplier accounts and resolve any discrepancies; 
  • Managing any ad hoc duties accordingly.

Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger Assistant vacancy:

  • Strong knowledge of transactional accounts including purchase ledger;
  • Previous experience of Qube would be advantageous;
  • Confident user of Excel and computer systems;
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal, happy to interact across all levels of the business.
