CMA Recruitment Group is working with a growing SME organisation, based in Southampton, Hampshire, to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on permanent basis.

Reporting into the finance manager and working within a small finance team, your job role with entail;

*Processing and coding invoices
*Reconciling purchase orders and delivery notes
*Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing accounts
*Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, including chasing invoices/querying balances
*Monthly ordering of stationery and consumables
*Dealing with purchase ledger queries
*Freight analysis - checking all invoices agree to costs charged
*Filing of all supplier invoices and statements
*Emailing supplier remittances once payment run has been made

This is a great opportunity for either an experienced purchase ledger clerk or a junior candidate looking for a steady role within a friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail and be able to work on their own initiative.
