CMA Recruitment Group is working with a well-established, global service provider with the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. This opportunity is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire and the successful candidate will join a large, friendly team.
Reporting to the Department Manager, your main duties will include:
*Match and process high volume invoices and credit notes effectively on behalf of the business;
*Reconciliation of key supplier statements;
*Ensuring effective, accurate and timely response to queries from suppliers and business partners;
*Escalation of issues faced;
*Preparation and gaining of authorisation for invoice payment;
*Identify opportunities for continuous improvements.
The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will have previous experience of the above, gained ideally within large, face paced environments. Possessing attention to detail and the ability to work as part of and motivate team members.
