CMA Recruitment Group are recruiting for a growing, fast paced SME based in Fareham, Hampshire, to help them recruit a temporary Credit Controller with the view to go permanent for the right candidate.
What will the role involve?
Credit control via telephone and email;
Producing monthly credit reports, keeping these up to date;
Maintaining the sales ledger;
Monthly production and distribution of customer statements;
Follow the overdue debt escalation process and follow legal processes where required;
Prepare for, attend and minute bi-monthly credit control meetings;
Assist with the sales ledger including allocating cash, reconciling cashbooks, dealing with debtor queries;
Ad hoc duties as required.
Previous experience within a similar role
Must be computer literate, especially on Excel, Outlook and Word
Customer focused with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Possesses a proactive approach and is enthusiastic and self-driven
Works effectively in a team, with flexibility to assist team members where needed
Be able to problem solve and make authoritative decisions - escalating to a senior manager where needed.
