CMA Recruitment Group are working with a successful organisation based in the outskirts of Southampton to assist with their recruitment of a Payroll Clerk to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Primary responsibility for this role will be running the monthly payroll.

Reporting into the Finance Manager the role will involve:

  • Inputting and checking the monthly payroll of 1100;
  • Assisting with the auto-enrolment pension scheme;
  • Inputting RTI;
  • Processing starters, leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP;
  • Ensuring payroll is completed to deadline for sign off by the Accounts Manager;
  • Other ad hoc payroll duties;
  • Reconciliations;
  • Financial administrative duties.

There is a strong possibility this role will go permanent for the right candidate following a successful period of working in a temporary capacity.

The role is offered on part-time basis of 25 hours a week (some flexibility to this).
