CMA is currently working with an international business in Southampton who are considered a UK industry leader within their sector. They are looking to appoint a Finance Analyst to undertake management accounting, analysis and reporting tasks as part of the Finance Team. Subject to a qualifying period, the role will offer two days working from home.
What will the Finance Analyst role involve?
- Month end accounting process, including review.
- Preparation and further development of monthly management KPI slide deck.
- Group reporting collecting of information and submission.
- ERP system key user - maintain and develop controls within system.
- R&D Business Partner: Project controlling including Product cost during development; R&D Cost Centre Monthly Reviews; developing and delivering financial control and efficiency within the R&D Dept.
- Manage business insurance contracts and claims.
- Support other financial related projects / ad hoc requirements.
- Export Control and Customs Process Administration & Compliance.
- Internal Control System Compliance Checks.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy:
- Previous experience of working within a management/ cost accounting role.
- Proficiency with Power BI or other relevant BI tools.
- Proven experience in a data analysis focusing on financial data reporting.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
- Excellent communication skills.
