CMA is delighted to be partnering with a fast paced, Portsmouth based business for the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to specialise in Purchase Ledger and join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

Working closely alongside Financial Controller, you will be an important addition to the team, where you will take full ownership of the purchase ledger function as well as take on additional duties.  

What will the Finance Assistant - Purchase Ledger role involve?

  • Process high volume, mixed value purchase ledger invoices.
  • Preparing BACS run and making UK and overseas payments.
  • Dealing with supplier queries.
  • Performing statement reconciliations.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant - Purchase Ledger vacancy:

  • Possess good transactional / purchase ledger experience.
  • Fully IT literate including intermediate excel (pivots, look ups etc).
  • Possess strong communication skills.

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some flexibility.
