Are you an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager looking for a new opportunity?  Our client is a unique and enterprising business, based in Basingstoke are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their growing team.

As a leader, oversee a team tasked with ensuring the timely and precise execution of financial control, accounting, and reporting activities. Foster collaboration with all departments to offer assistance and facilitate coordination through financial reporting and analysis. Implement best practices and enhance processes through ongoing improvements using Visual Management methodology and tools.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?

  • Manage and review team activities for compliance with policies and SLAs.
  • Ensure a robust balance sheet reconciliation process.
  • Coordinate activities to deliver the period end close within company deadlines.
  • Supervise accounting activity across international legal entities.
  • Analyse team activities to identify areas for standardisation.
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) exist for all processes.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Audited Financial Statements.
  • Contribute to a strong process improvement roadmap and deliver agreed items.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

  • Experience of leading and developing a team ideally within a shared services role or similar environment.
  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA – 3 years + PQE.
  • Extensive experience of month-end close processes.
  • Experience of working with new finance system implementation and stabilisation.
  • Strong communication skills and experience of building strong relationships.
  • Contribute to a strong process improvement roadmap and deliver agreed items.
