Are you a qualified accountant with strong leadership skills?  Our client is a global leader and seeking a talented individual to lead their Finance Operations team.  This is an exciting opportunity to oversee operational and divisional accounting across international entities, contributing to the security of global supply chains and cash cycles.

As a Group Finance Manager, you will lead the Finance Operations team, overseeing operational and divisional accounting across international entities.  You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information, managing a team of 8 and collaborating with other finance colleagues.

What will the Group Finance Manager role involve?

  • Manage and develop a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities of the Finance Operations team.
  • Ensure monthly financial close is completed accurately and on time.
  • Own the General Ledger control environment, ensuring key controls are identified and monitored.
  • Drive process improvement and system enhancements for efficiency.
  • Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and 3rd party outsourced providers.
  • Support legal entity rationalization projects and new entity setups.
  • Coordinate and manage the UK external audit.

Suitable Candidate for the Group Finance Manager vacancy:

  • Qualified Accountant with strong technical ability.
  • Previous team management experience with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage through change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
