Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to have been instructed to source an Accountant  to join a very well known organisation based in central Portsmouth, Hampshire.

This varied, interim role will report to the Finance Manager and is based in a friendly, tenured department where there is ample variety with your day to day duties.  The initial contract will be 5 months with the possibility of extension/permanent contract. 

What will the Accountant role involve?

• Budget monitoring and forecasting and assisting with the preparation of financial accounts and statutory financial statements;
• Financial analysis and providing support to numerous departments for decision making purposes;
• Identifying cost and efficiency savings for the wider business.

Suitable candidate for the Accountant vacancy?

• Fully CCAB Qualified - Essential for this role;
• Possess excellent communication skills in order to forge excellent business relationships;
• Experience in preparing budgets, associated reports and budget monitoring;
• Able to produce financial information and present to senior stakeholders both internal and external.
