Assistant Accountant

CMA are partnering with a well known, leading SME business for the recruitment of an  Assistant Accountant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. 

This newly created role has become available due to the continued growth of the team, and will work closely alongside the Financial Controller. 

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Performing multiple intercompany balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, cash flow and P+L.
• Accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
• Bank reconciliation
• Adhoc duties as required by the wider team.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Possess strong reconciliations experience working within finance, ideally as an Assistant Accountant
• Studying towards CIMA or ACCA or equivalent
• Comfortable with working in a fast paced environment
• Experience of SAP and strong Excel would be advantageous but not essential.
