Financial Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is currently working with an excellent employer based in Weymouth, Dorset, who have the newly generated requirement to hire a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This role will work closely with the Financial Controller and focuses on statutory reporting, controls and audit, alongside broader responsibilities. This is an opportunity to join a business with a proven track record of developing staff, both through study support and mentorship.

What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

• Production of statutory accounts;
• Liaison with external auditors during year end audit;
• Support with tax calculations for multiple entities;
• Help to maintain and improve controls to ensure accountant standards are maintained;
• Assist with wider project work where required.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

• The ideal candidate will be working towards or will have completed their ACCA / ACA or equivalent qualification;
• Previous experience working in a similar role is required. Practice trained candidates are also encouraged to apply;
• Some knowledge of tax is advantageous.
