Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity to support a growing business, our client is requiring an immediately available Interim Finance Acquisitions Manager.

This role sits at the centre of a business undergoing positive change following a recent UK acquisition. With two strong brands now operating under one umbrella, there’s significant scope to refine systems, unify reporting frameworks, and embed more efficient financial processes.

Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll lead the effort to bring structure, consistency, and improved control across the combined business ensuring finance supports both operational performance and future growth.

What will the Interim Finance Acquisition Manager role involve?

• Lead all month-end activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Act as the go-to technical expert for the finance team, supporting complex accounting queries
• Oversee statutory accounts, audits, and compliance with FRS 101 / FRS 102 standards
• Partner with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure clean, efficient year-end delivery
• Strengthen internal controls, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across finance
• Support cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making

Suitable Candidate for the Interim Finance Acquisition Manager vacancy:

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience managing month-end, reporting, and audits
• Comfortable operating in a changing environment improving processes and embedding best practice
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support team members
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
