What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

  • Supporting daily financial transactions, including processing invoices and payments to ensure accurate records
  • Assisting in bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintaining and processing debtor and creditor ledgers with a focus on diligent credit control
  • Contributing to the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and assisting with audits
  • Providing general support to the finance team, fostering continuous improvement and operational efficiency

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Experience in billing, ledger management, or treasury functions
  • Strong organisational skills, with an attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with excellent communication abilities
  • Proactive, team-oriented, with a high degree of integrity and a desire for professional growth
