Assistant Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is collaborating with a well-established, globally renowned company in Littlehampton to assist in their search for an Assistant Accountant for a 12-month contract.  Providing support for the General Ledger and taking ownership of your own entities, you will be responsible for accurate and timely reporting.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Overseeing the banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, fixed assets & inter-company activities of the same entities.
• Journal postings and adjustments.
• Calculation of accruals and prepayments.
• Payroll accounting and reconciliation.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to influence others.
• A working knowledge of SAP would be desirable.
