Finance Analyst

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting a successful international business in the Fareham, Hampshire area with the recruitment of a Finance Analyst

This role sits at the heart of a commercially focused finance team and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across sales, marketing and operations.

Working within a fast-paced, multinational environment, you will be a key point of contact for a defined business area, providing clear, insightful analysis that drives decision making and improves performance.

What will the Finance Analyst role involve?

• Acting as the primary finance lead for a specific division, owning monthly results, commentary and performance insight for that area.
• Preparing and reviewing budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with commercial and operational teams, ensuring assumptions are robust and well understood.
• Building and maintaining financial models to support pricing, investment cases, new product launches and wider strategic initiatives.
• Producing clear variance analysis, explaining movements against budget and prior periods, and recommending actions to improve margins, sales and cost efficiency.
• Supporting and influencing investment decisions, including preparation of business cases and post‑investment reviews.
• Working closely with the regional FP&A team to enhance management reporting, dashboards and KPI tracking across EMEA.

Suitable Candidate Profile:

• Professionally qualified or finalist accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with strong technical grounding and commercial awareness.
• Experience gained in a multinational or complex organisation
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, with the ability to turn data into clear stories and practical recommendations.
• Strong Excel skills and experience of using financial planning / reporting tools (experience with Cognos or EPM-style systems would be advantageous).
