Finance Assistant

CMA recruitment Group is delighted to be exclusively supporting our £50M turnover specialist industry sector, due to continued growth and additional projects taking place this is a newly created position. As Finance Assistant you will be working closely with the Senior Management Accountant and the Head of Finance.

Day to day you will be supporting with a variety of transactional duties including billings and reconciliations but will also be working closely with the senior management accountant to support in month end and year end accounts for multiple entities.

What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

• Assisting in month and year end accounts
• Analysis and reporting on business income
• Preparing costings for month end
• Bank reconciliations
• Responsible for billings and query resolution
• Cash allocations
• Supporting in financial modelling utilising excel and excel add ons
• Support with new system migration

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

• Ideally working towards a professional qualification CIMA or ACCA or equivalent or qualified by experience
• Confident systems user desirable if supported in systems implementation however this is not essential
• Good understanding of transactional finance
• Experience working in a fast paced finance department
