Management Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is exclusively partnering with a dynamic SME business based in Christchurch, Dorset, who have the requirement to hire a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will fulfil a broad reporting role with visibility across the whole business. This position is well suited to a motivated finance looking to build on their current experience whilst working beneath a strong mentor figure.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary & analysis;
• Completion of year end reconciliation and reports, including VAT returns;
• Cashflow forecasting, budgeting & forecasting;
• Profitability analysis for various clients with communication to non-finance stakeholders;
• Maintenance of relevant accounting controls, making improvements where necessary;
• Additional project-based reporting when required.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

• An ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification is required;
• Previous experience working in a similar Management Accountant role is required;
• Training within an accountancy practice is beneficial but not essential.
