CMA is partnering with a fast-paced, growing business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire to recruit a Purchase Ledger to join the team for a 12 month maternity contract. 

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team where you can progress and expand your skillset. The successful candidate will report into the Team Leader; the team is always growing so there could be a possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

What will the Purchase Ledger role involve?

  • Process high volume invoices;
  • Reconcile statements and assist with month end ledger close down;
  • Create new suppliers and reconcile accounts;
  • Raise POs and allocate correctly;
  • Produce BACS payments;
  • Other ad hoc finance duties;
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required by the team.

Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger:

  • Experience in a finance team;
  • Strong IT skills;
  • Use of SAP is essential to this role;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication skills.
