What will the Senior Finance Business Partner role involve?  

  • Provide high-quality financial insight, analysis and decision support to production-focused departments and major projects
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for your areas, working closely with stakeholders to understand drivers and risks
  • Act as a trusted finance presence at departmental and project meetings, offering constructive challenge and commercial input
  • Deliver clear, timely management reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
  • Manage and interpret complex variances to budget, using insight from the central FP&A team to support robust outcomes
  • Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring finance is embedded in decision-making
  • Line manage and develop a Finance Business Partner, supporting their delivery and professional growth

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Finance Business Partner role:

  • Strong experience in finance business partnering, planning and decision support
  • Confident communicator with the presence to challenge senior stakeholders and make their viewpoint heard
  • Experience managing or mentoring others, as this role will manage and develop one other person
