What will the Senior Financial Accountant role involve?

• Leading the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with legislation and standards
• Overseeing statutory submissions and regulatory returns, maintaining high standards of accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Managing treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, bank relationships, and covenant compliance
• Providing guidance on taxation matters, including VAT and Corporation Tax, working closely with HMRC and external advisors
• Developing and maintaining robust financial controls and systems, exploring innovative solutions such as AI and digital tools to enhance processes

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Possesses either extensive financial accounting experience within a complex environment or is a qualified individual looking to make their first move out of Public Practice
• Demonstrates strong technical expertise and the ability to advise and guide senior management on financial matters
• Exhibits excellent leadership skills, capable of managing and developing a team whilst fostering collaboration
• Is highly organised, with a proactive attitude and meticulous attention to detail in a deadline-driven setting
