Senior Financial Reporting Manager

This permanent position plays a central role in strengthening the Group’s reporting standards, control environment and financial governance, while supporting senior leadership with clear and trusted financial insight.  This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys shaping best practice, working with auditors, and leading a capable team through periods of growth and improvement.

What does the Senior Financial Reporting Manager role involve:

• Overseeing statutory reporting for several UK entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in line with accounting standards
• Providing technical accounting guidance and helping to resolve complex reporting matters
• Acting as the day-to-day lead for the external audit process, coordinating timelines and ensuring smooth delivery
• Maintaining the Group’s financial control framework, supporting risk mitigation and strengthening governance
• Overseeing VAT and tax compliance processes, working with advisers when specialist input is required
• Driving improvements across reporting processes and finance systems, helping to streamline activity and improve data quality

Suitable candidate for the Senior Financial Reporting Manager position:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong experience in statutory reporting and technical accounting
• Confident working with auditors and managing year-end processes
• Solid understanding of internal controls, financial governance and risk awareness
• Experience leading or mentoring team members, with a collaborative and supportive style
• Comfortable working in a busy, evolving environment and contributing to continuous improvement
