A respected UK financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to take ownership of group-level tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional looking to join a collaborative and progressive business environment during an exciting period of change.

You’ll manage the organisation’s UK tax affairs, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and accounting standards. The role also involves supporting new acquisitions and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, HMRC, and external advisors.

What will the Tax Manager role involve?

  • Oversee the submission of Corporation Tax, VAT, and IPT returns within statutory deadlines
  • Ensure accurate tax disclosures within annual accounts
  • Advise on employment tax matters in partnership with HR and Payroll
  • Act as primary contact for HMRC and manage relationships with tax advisors and auditors
  • Provide input into group-level tax planning and compliance strategy.

Suitable Candidate for the Tax  Manager:

  • Qualified Accountant or Tax Advisor (ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience managing corporate tax compliance and reporting
  • Solid knowledge of CT, VAT, and IPT
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
