What will the Finance Assistant role involve?

  • Facilitating accurate reconciliation of supplier accounts related to utilities and property management, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly addressed
  • Engaging with utility suppliers and external providers through phone and email, fostering effective communication to resolve issues efficiently
  • Supporting the administration of lease-related accounts across multiple properties, maintaining clarity and compliance
  • Assisting with financial data entry and management using Xero and Excel, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth project execution and resolve account queries proactively, with an eye on continuous improvement

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:

  • Previous experience in finance administration, accounts payable, or similar roles, with a strong focus on reconciliation and supplier management
  • Confident communicator who can liaise professionally over the phone and via email with external stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of account reconciliation, dispute resolution, and high-volume administrative tasks
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and persistent with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with utilities, property, or housing-related accounts is advantageous but not essential
